Description: The Hostal Casillas is located in the centre of Madrid near all the city's most famous sites. It is walking distance from the Puerta del Sol, the epicentre of the Spanish Capital where natives and visitors gather. Near here is the Plaza Mayor, with a rich history including bull fighting and some dark moments from the Inquisition, contrasted by today's outdoor cafés in this beautiful sunny enclosure. The Royal Palace is also walking distance where you can see how Spanish royalty lived (King Juan Carlos lives in the smaller Zarzuela palace today). The best shopping and night life are all just steps away: shopping on Gran Via for the high rollers and on Fuencarral for the hipsters, all styles of night life from gay to punk, to bohemian to electronic, can all be found without having to take taxis. The hotel offers simple but comfortable and very tidy rooms. There are only seven rooms in total so you can be guaranteed personal assistance. The hotel offers twin and double rooms to sleep one to two people. All the rooms have a private, en suite bathroom, air conditioning, a TV, CD player, wireless cable, hair dryer and heating. The hotel itself has a friendly 24 hour reception desk which will be happy to get you oriented when you arrive. Children who do not require a bed sleep for free.
